About the role
LensCrafters is part of EssilorLuxottica, a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of world-class vision care products. The Sales Operations Team Lead acts as the liaison between the Account Manager and all internal departments inside the Port Washington/Atlanta warehouse, ensuring the team is set up for success and customer requests are resolved.
Responsibilities
- Handles escalated issues and leads efforts to resolve them satisfactorily.
- Answers Sales Operations Specialist inquiries, providing guidance and support.
- Coordinates and ensures processing of specific requests (sales reports or tracker, UPC codes, pictures, MBO, etc.).
- Partners with Account Management Teams to address and resolve customer billing issues, PO and shipping issues.
- Liaises with the Credit Department to address all credit-related customer issues as required by the Account Manager.
- Researches, resolves and responds to questions regarding invoice discrepancies and accounts on credit hold.
- Filters all requests received and distributes accordingly; collects back responses and information and provides to the respective manager inquired.
- Collects orders from Account Managers and interacts with all departments to ensure orders are processed in a timely manner.
- Works with the Allocation Manager and distribution center to ensure timely shipping of orders.
- Works with Customer Maintenance to update/change/revise customer profile details (e.g., bill to/ship to addresses, contact info, billing terms).
- Works with the Discount and Commissions Department to ensure customers receive correct discounts and billing documents are accurate.
- Works with Inventory Planning to provide current status of SKUs, transfers of inventory and daily/weekly allocations to maximize fill rates of orders.
- Monitors and reports on the forecast daily.
- Provides UPC information to Account Managers for their customers.
- Coordinates invoice copies and order updates to Account Managers.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree
- 1+ year(s) of related work experience
- Strong PC skills; proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Internet
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and multi-task with limited supervision
- Attention to detail and accuracy

- SAP experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
