Team Lead Order Entry
About the role
This position reports to the Inside Sales Support Supervisor and manages a team of Order Entry Representatives. Key responsibilities include ensuring timely and accurate order processing, developing employees, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Escalate order entry issues within the Customer Service department
- Track and report daily order entry metrics
- Support order management for minimal customization and reproducibility, including blanket orders
- Consult with various departments to resolve order lifecycle issues
- Provide timely and effective communication to both internal and external customers
- Maintain customer files and ensure compliance with specific requirements
- Approve timecards for hourly customer service employees
- Develop and evaluate skills of the Customer Service team and Order Management Associates
- Improve processes using tools like Salesforce, Ariba, EDI, Reports Now, and JD Edwards ERP software
- Plan and organize resources for project completion
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- Documented ability to resolve issues independently
- Strong written communication skills
- Working knowledge of JD Edwards software preferred
- 5+ years of experience in an operational role within a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in the power industry
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Standing, stooping, bending, squatting, kneeling - occasional
- Heavy lifting and carrying on an occasional basis up to ~50 lbs
Skills
- Technical proficiency with JD Edwards ERP software
- Experience with Salesforce CRM and Ariba electronic order transaction tools
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
Typical pay range is $55,309 – 69,379 annually. Pay is based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications.
Schedule
The role is based in a general office environment with occasional light lifting and standing.
