Team Lead-Line Maintenance

About the Role
Working under indirect supervision and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position has primary responsibility for the operation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of facility utility and complex process equipment. The role includes teaching less experienced technicians and may supervise the work of outside contractors. In addition to the responsibilities of a Craftsperson Manufacturing Maintenance, the Craftsperson Lead provides coordination and leadership support across assigned functions.
Schedule
- Shift to be determined: Day shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) or Night shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
- Thursday-Saturday, every other Wednesday
- Ability to work a non-standard schedule as needed
- On-call hours as required
- Regular and predictable on-site attendance
Responsibilities
- Assists the Supervisor in leading a group of peers and/or subordinates, primarily focused on coordination of work which may include materials loading, production functions, maintenance functions, and training/mentoring
- Provides support across different organizational levels as needed
- Performs core job functions in area of expertise as required
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Supervisor from time to time
Skills & Expertise
- Applies intermediate working knowledge of technical field or area of specialization
- Exercises general application of principles, theories, and concepts, and proposes appropriate courses of action
- Demonstrates intermediate shop floor competencies
- Exercises limited judgment in resolving problems
- Works under general supervision and may assist in orienting, training, assigning, and reviewing the work of peers
- Interacts primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers, with occasional interaction with external contractors or vendors
Qualifications
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Required: 2+ years of related experience OR completion of PBS requirements and passing assessment at the appropriate level
- Preferred: Applicable industry or professional certification

- Moderate work: exerting up to 40 lbs occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs continuously

Pay
Salary Range: $28.33 - $36.38 per hour plus shift differential. The range considers factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs.
