As a Team Lead Licensed Optician, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that every customer receives the personalized care they deserve. You'll be responsible for setting high standards of excellence in customer service and product quality, while leading a team to deliver exceptional experiences.

Responsibilities

- Welcome all customers, setting clear expectations and ensuring their satisfaction. - Customize glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses, demonstrating expertise and precision. - Act as a leader in optical acumen, guiding the team through complex product needs and prescriptions. - Accurately take and record measurements, adjust eyewear with attention to detail, and ensure finished products meet customer needs and standards. - Assist the team with intricate product requirements and prescriptions, using technology efficiently under time constraints. - Proactively address issues, think ahead, and ensure customers are fully satisfied and exceed their expectations. - Multitask effectively, prioritize tasks, and manage time amidst competing priorities. - Strive to meet and exceed brand key performance indicators (KPIs) and competencies. - Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized store environment. - Report safety concerns to management and adhere to safe work practices. - Continuously learn, improve, and drive results. - Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent. - State licensure. - Optical dispensing experience. - Strong customer service skills, including communication, listening, and teamwork. - Comprehensive knowledge of store merchandise. - Strong basic math skills. - Awareness of current fashion trends. - Proficiency in using an iPad/tablet for sales. - Familiarity with point of sale (POS), computers, and calculators. - Willingness to embrace new technologies and adapt to change.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.97 to $37.39 per hour. Total rewards include benefits such as health care, retirement savings, paid time off, and various employee discounts.
