TEAM LEAD - Fast-track to Management - Entry-Level Manager

About the role

Responsible for assisting in the oversight of gym operations to ensure a positive member experience and financially successful club.

Responsibilities

• Assist in member service oversight to ensure all staff provide a great customer experience.
• Be very involved in all front desk-related tasks.
• Greet and meet potential members and provide gym tours.
• Assist in facilitating member service issues and questions.
• Provide backup support to the Club Manager as needed.
• Assist in overseeing the cleanliness and appearance of the gym.
• Assist in managing marketing efforts, ensuring staff are aware and trained on current promotions.
• Assist in ordering supplies, keeping inventory, and tracking reports as needed.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift.
• Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs less than 30% of the time.

Team Leads learn the Planet Fitness culture and experience while building leadership and development skills. Successful completion of the Team Lead program leads to a Manager in Training role and, if successful, a Club Manager position.
