Responsibilities
- Assist the regional Community Services Supervisor in managing staff in the program and supporting program needs, including coordination of meetings, training, and overseeing staff service provision to meet agency standards.
- Meet and comply with expected administrative and clinical documentation requirements.
- Assist Supervisor in monitoring that assigned team members in their first quarter of employment have an adjudicated or “clean” claim within 5 days of services provided.
- For staff employed for more than one quarter, assist Supervisor in ensuring all staff complete notes by 11:59 the following day.
- Ensure assigned staff fill their weekly schedule to meet client needs and agency expectations.
- Meet client care expectations and comply with established productivity standards.
- Attend and actively participate in clinical supervision and program staffing; provide input on clinical and program issues.
- Network in the community to increase awareness of the program and learn about new programs.
- Attend all assigned meetings within the community and at the state level.
- Work cooperatively with the Management Team and other staff to share resources and expertise in pursuit of the agency's mission.
- Maintain knowledge and skills related to the field through regular review of materials and attendance at training events.
- Adhere to PMHS Policy and Procedure and any applicable ethical codes within the field of employment.
- Manage a team of staff as assigned by the YCS Supervisor; build collaboration and teamwork.
- Monitor that expectations are met by team staff.
- Work closely with direct supervisor on hiring and discipline actions as needed.
- Train new staff on the team and help increase skill competency through observation, training, and supervision meetings.
- Research and present new or updated training and information to the team to increase competency.
- Assist team with crisis situations that may arise.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to all cultural and ethnic differences.
- Perform all other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or other management personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a human service field or equivalent work experience, or a combination of work experience in the human services field and education (one year of experience substituting for one year of education).
- Basic personal computer skills enabling entry, retrieval, and use of electronic data.
- Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance maintained in accordance with Pawnee policy and procedure.
- Strong oral and written communication skills using the English language.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the needs and challenges of individuals who experience mental illness.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software.
- Experience leading and supporting a team of individuals.
Pay
$22.19 per hour
