About the Role

The Team Lead will oversee quality assurance, report creation, and educational delivery for client projects while acting as a key liaison between leadership and the auditing team. This position ensures auditing teams have the necessary resources and information to successfully complete client projects, supports the ongoing training and development of new and existing auditors, maintains and updates auditing playbooks, ensures compliance with coding guidelines, and provides continuous feedback to enhance the department’s work processes. The role also leads special projects, provides back-up for leadership in client interactions, and holds a high standard for quality assurance, with an accuracy threshold of 95% on all QA tasks. This is a remote position available in the US only.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all the same duties as the Auditing & Education Consultant.
  • Responsible for quality assurance, report creation, and educational delivery for client projects.
  • Coordinates with Leadership to facilitate scheduling of team and client deliverables.
  • Alerts and assigns auditors of new clients they will be assigned to and sends out weekly assignments.
  • Functions as client liaison/expert in specific organizational policies and maintains audit playbook for each of their department’s assigned clients.
  • Ensures auditors have access to client information and sends out updates as needed; answers pertinent questions about department process and functions as a subject-matter expert for fellow teammates across the spectrum of assigned audits.
  • Provides auditors with updates/changes within coding guidelines.
  • Responsible for training of new and existing auditors.
  • Takes on QA of at least 25% of all work product from the department to ensure quality deliverables to our clients. Expected QA accuracy threshold is 95%.
  • Demonstrates ability to provide consistent application of coding principles to evolving audit situations and scenarios.
  • Participates in and/or leads special projects requiring coding and/or auditing for clients across the organization, as needed.
  • Provides back-up to the leadership for client interaction when they are not available.
  • Ensures procedures are being followed while also suggesting ideas for streamlining processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ prior experience as an auditing/education consultant.
  • Demonstrates ability to manage a client’s workflow and meet all associated deliverable deadlines across multiple clients.
  • Consistent department QA scores of 97% or higher for 6 months prior to accepting the role; no greater than 2 scores below 97% allowed within a 1-year period.
  • Productivity consistently at or above department standards for all chart types under their service line.
  • Functions in both a Quality Assurance role and as a second opinion for queries from the team regarding audit process and/or knowledge base.
  • Ability to function as a stand-in for senior manager on client kick-offs, discovery calls, and operations implementation as needed.
  • Familiarity with construction and review of audit summary and final reporting functions within SalesForce.
  • Demonstrates thought leadership across the audit process, including suggestions of efficiency to improve the process, maintenance of updates to the client’s audit profile, and ability to proactively track and report opportunities for program focus narrowing to upper management.

Physical Demands

The ability to perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day and function in an environment with constant interruptions is required. At times, Team Members are subject to sitting for prolonged periods. Infrequently, Team Member must be able to lift and move material weighing up to 20 lbs. Team Member may experience elevated levels of stress during periods of increased activity and with work entailing multiple deadlines.
