About the Role

The Team Lead will oversee quality assurance, report creation, and educational delivery for client projects while acting as a key liaison between leadership and the auditing team. This position ensures auditing teams have the necessary resources and information to successfully complete client projects, supports the ongoing training and development of new and existing auditors, maintains and updates auditing playbooks, ensures compliance with coding guidelines, and provides continuous feedback to enhance the department’s work processes. The role also leads special projects, provides backup for leadership in client interactions, and maintains a high standard for quality assurance with an accuracy threshold of 95% on all QA tasks. This is a remote position available in the US only.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties of the Auditing & Education Consultant.
• Oversees quality assurance, report creation, and educational delivery for client projects.
• Coordinates with leadership to facilitate scheduling of team and client deliverables.
• Alerts and assigns auditors of new clients and sends out weekly assignments.
• Functions as client liaison/expert in specific organizational policies and maintains audit playbook for each assigned client.
• Ensures auditors have access to client information, sends updates as needed, and answers questions about department processes.
• Provides auditors with updates/changes within coding guidelines.
• Responsible for training new and existing auditors.
• Performs QA on at least 25% of all work product from the department to ensure quality deliverables, with an expected accuracy threshold of 95%.
• Demonstrates ability to provide consistent application of coding principles to evolving audit situations.
• Participates in and/or leads special projects requiring coding and/or auditing for clients.
• Provides backup to leadership for client interaction when unavailable.
• Ensures procedures are followed and suggests ideas for streamlining processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ prior experience as an auditing/education consultant.
• Ability to manage a client’s workflow and meet deliverable deadlines across multiple clients.
• Consistent department QA scores of 97% or higher for 6 months prior to accepting the role; no more than 2 scores below 97% allowed within a 1-year period.
• Productivity consistently at or above department standards for all chart types under their service line.
• Functions in both a Quality Assurance role and as a second opinion for team queries regarding audit process and knowledge base.
• Ability to function as a stand-in for senior manager on client kick-offs, discovery calls, and operations implementation as needed.
• Familiarity with construction and review of audit summary and final reporting functions within SalesForce.
• Demonstrates thought leadership across the audit process, including suggestions for efficiency improvements, maintenance of updates to client audit profiles, and proactive tracking and reporting of opportunities for program focus narrowing to upper management.

Physical Demands

Regular eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity are required to operate office equipment. The ability to perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day and function in an environment with constant interruptions is required. Team members may be subject to sitting for prolonged periods. Infrequently, team members must lift and move material weighing up to 20 lbs. Team members may experience elevated levels of stress during periods of increased activity and with work entailing multiple deadlines.
