About the role

The PICL Program at Resources for Human Development (RHD) in the Montgomery County area of Pennsylvania provides community-based behavioral health services. This role involves leading a team of direct care staff, providing supervision, and ensuring the successful implementation of support plans for individuals served.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line supervision, coaching, mentoring, and support to direct care staff.
  • Organize, schedule, and distribute work assignments among team members.
  • Maintain a direct service caseload and provide direct support services as needed.
  • Cook up and oversee medical appointments, including attending appointments when necessary.
  • Communicate with medical providers regarding the health and wellness needs of individuals served.
  • Maintain positive relationships with family members, guardians, staff, and program leadership.
  • Participate in person-centered planning meetings and ensure implementation of support plans.
  • Coordinate training plans and ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Monitor progress notes, daily documentation, and monthly reviews.
  • Communicate regularly with service coordinators and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Prepare and submit reports and required program documentation.
  • Support continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) Certification.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • One of the following:
    • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field such as sociology, special education, rehabilitation, nursing, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
    • Associate Degree and three (3) years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.
    • High School Diploma or GED and five (5) years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Experience working within behavioral health, psychiatric rehabilitation, or community support programs.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, reach, and climb stairs as needed.
  • Ability to push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, and perform repetitive movements.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule

  • Full-Time.
  • Flexible schedule based on program needs.
  • Evening and weekend availability may occasionally be required.
  • Local travel may be required to support individuals and attend appointments.

Pay

$21.12 per hour.
