About the role

The Team Lead assists in supervising and managing all day‑to‑day store operations while ensuring 100% compliance with Company policies and procedures. The role provides leadership, guidance, and training to store staff under direction from the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. In the absence of both managers, the Team Lead assumes full responsibility for all store operations and strives to meet and exceed sales, service, and operational objectives. The position may be full‑time or part‑time.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Create and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience; uphold service level standards and provide service training and leadership.
• Manage customer issues promptly and to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Process all POS terminal transactions in accordance with policy and procedure, including sales, discounts, refunds, and loyalty transactions.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Inventory control: shipping and receiving, price management (price changes, markdowns), singles, damaged merchandise, and conducting physical inventories.
• Sales floor merchandising and visual presentation: merchandise placement, sales‑floor maintenance and housekeeping, promotional event directions, materials, and signage.
• Payroll control: scheduling, payroll budget compliance, and time & attendance tracking.
• Training and development of direct reports: utilize all available training tools and consistently reinforce customer service standards.
• Loss prevention: protect and control all Company assets.
• Work toward a complete understanding of managing all day‑to‑day operations.

Pay

Hourly rate: $11.00 – $14.30.
