Team Lead

About the role

As a Team Lead at a child care center, you will inspire children to become lifelong learners while taking the next step in your teaching career. You'll promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children in your care, with classroom instruction comprising at least 50% of your weekly schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and support center success
• Manage, train, and mentor new hires and fellow Teachers, creating fun, interactive learning experiences for preschool children
• Take on duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school
• Ensure daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing company standards

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children

Pay

Compensation range of $18.57–$19.29 based on position, education, and experience. Bi-weekly and daily pay options available.

Schedule

Monday–Friday work week.
