Team Lead

About the role

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care.
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Classroom instruction is at least 50% of the weekly schedule.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and support the center's success.
• Mentor new hires and fellow teachers, creating fun, interactive learning experiences for preschool children.
• Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing company standards.

Requirements

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a CDA, preferred.
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Qualifications

We seek energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 years old and possess:

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• A College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a CDA, preferred.
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
