Team Lead

About the role

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care.
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation (classroom instruction is at least 50% of weekly schedule).
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and support your center’s success.
• Mentor new hires and fellow Teachers, creating fun, interactive learning experiences for preschool children.
• Act as Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.

Requirements

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• At least 18 years of age.
