Responsibilities

• Teacher: Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children; lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, with classroom instruction comprising at least 50% of the weekly schedule.
• Communicator: Build relationships with families to support child achievement and center success.
• Mentor: Manage, train, and mentor new hires and fellow teachers while creating fun, interactive learning experiences.
• Leader: Assume duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Expert: Ensure daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a CDA (preferred).
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Willingness to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

$17.72–$18.41 per hour
