About the role

As a Team Lead at a child care center, you will promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care, lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, and mentor new hires and fellow teachers.
Classroom instruction is at least 50% of your weekly schedule. You will also communicate with families, support center success, and take on Director or Assistant Director duties in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
Responsibilities
- Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children in your care.
- Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
- Communicate and build relationships with families to support child achievement and center success.
- Mentor new hires and fellow teachers, creating fun, interactive learning experiences.
- Assume duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
- Ensure daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and company standards.
Requirements
- Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
- College credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA (preferred).
- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
- At least 18 years of age.

Pay
$18.57–$19.29 per hour, based on position, education, and experience.
