Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure sales associates record each sale accurately, promptly and in accordance with Company policy
- Monitor sales associates and model Company cash handling procedures; ensure all funds are in the safe or register and cash drawer levels are maintained at or below the maximum allowed by Company policy
- Direct and perform all duties necessary to maintain a clean and attractive store; both inside and out, in accordance with Company policy
- Based on location, coach sales associates and personally prepare food & drinks, clean, stock and maintain food prep area in compliance with health codes
- Directly support sales associates and answer customer questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise or services, as appropriate
- Learn, comply and model behavior required by all Company policies and procedures, as well as, Federal, State and local laws and regulations
- Maintain an awareness of all product information, merchandise promotions, test merchandise
- Support sales associates and answer customer questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise or services, as appropriate
- Learn Company selling guidelines and coach sales associates to increase sales and customer satisfaction
- Accurately receive merchandise from vendors in accordance with Company policy and procedure
- Set up advertising or promotional displays and arrange merchandise to promote sales
