Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of warehouse associates during daily operations
• Unload and break down freight (e.g., trucks, trailers, rail cars) alongside team members
• Assign tasks, prioritize workflow, and monitor productivity throughout the shift
• Sort, organize, repack, label, and stage freight accurately and efficiently
• Operate and oversee the safe use of material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, conveyors, bailers, compactors, shrink wrappers)
• Train new associates on warehouse procedures, RF scanner use, and safety standards
• Ensure accurate scanning, packing, and documentation of freight using RF Scanner technology
• Identify and report damaged freight, unusable pallets, and equipment issues
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer SOPs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
• Enforce safety policies and lead by example in safe work practices
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding performance, issues, and workflow updates
• Auxiliary duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience (Team Lead or leadership experience preferred)
• Prior experience leading or training others strongly preferred
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, continuously lifting and moving up to 50 lbs
• Certification on warehouse material handling equipment preferred (e.g., electric pallet jack)
• Proven ability to meet and drive fast-paced productivity goals
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends during peak/seasonal volumes
• Ability to work in various climate conditions (including coolers/freezers if applicable)
• Reliable transportation and consistent on-time attendance
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb for 8–10 hours per shift
• Safety shoes required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
