About the role
Ben & Jerry's Shift Lead – Step up, lead the scoop squad, and make every shift sweet.
Responsibilities
- Be the decision‑maker on shift – own it from open to close
- Guide, motivate, and support your team through every rush
- Handle cash, deposits, and daily operations accurately
- Deliver standout guest service and resolve issues in the moment
- Run pre‑shift huddles and keep communication clear
- Train and support new team members
- Hold the shop to its standards when the SM or AM is out
- Keep shifts running smoothly and step up when it counts
Requirements
- Food/retail experience (a plus, not required)
- Great communication & organization
- Reliability your team can count on
