About the role
The Team Coordinator is directly responsible for the management and oversight of supports for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities who reside in assigned homes. They work under the supervision of the Director of Personal Supports and in conjunction with the Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and guidance to lead staff and DSPs to ensure activities of daily living skills are implemented.
- Ensure homes project a sense of dignity, privacy and respect for the people living there.
- Ensure the daily management and operation of each home environment is in compliance with COMAR regulations, HIPPA regulations, DDA standards, State and County regulations and The Arc Montgomery County’s policies and procedures.
- Ensure homes are fully staffed under the direction of and in conjunction with the Assistant Director of Community Living Services.
- Assist with maintaining the set schedules for the homes, interviewing, hiring, training and evaluating DSPs.
- Act as a role model to their staff, promote quality service and carry out the mission of the agency as it relates to inclusion for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus three years of relevant professional experience; Associate degree plus five years of relevant professional experience; or high school diploma plus seven years of relevant professional experience.
- One year of experience must be at a supervisory level.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Publisher, Excel, PowerPoint and data entry.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in written and spoken English.

Pay
$61,077.00 - $64,096.00 depending on education and experience.
