We have an immediate opening for a 1st shift Team Coordinator to join our diverse team in Easley, SC. The Team Coordinator is a production employee who assumes a leadership role within a work area. This position involves guiding Operators on job tasks, completing tracking metrics, reporting causes of deviations, and participating in problem-solving activities. The Team Coordinator will progressively lead and support production across all areas. Hours for this position are 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Understands and can explain the 8 types of Waste and 10 Lean Principles.
• Motivates and supports employees throughout the day, keeping teams informed of production expectations, scheduling, and any other follow-up information as needed.
• Ensures staffing assignments and gaps are communicated day to day.
• Works with other Team Coordinators to flex and train employees to reduce non-value-added hours in production.
• Facilitates RCPS board meetings and follows up on open JDI and 4-Steps to resolve them and close in a timely fashion.

What We're Looking For

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Proficient in basic mathematics.
• Must possess the skills and knowledge to perform all tasks within the area.
• Computer proficiency: SAP, Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a fact-based approach.
• Capable of instructing co-workers in fundamental problem-solving techniques.
