Activity Specialists2552 Union Lane St. Charles, Iowa 50240Posted 10 years ago Wildwood Hills Ranch TEAM BUILDING AND ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR The Team Building and Activities Director is responsible to oversee and facilitate all areas of the Team Building program, including the registration activities, low ropes and high ropes course facilitation, and student rotations among other team building projects. Facilitate low and high ropes elements with the purpose of relating the challenge of the activity to life and the gospel. Assist teams in growing trust, unity, and problem solving while also helping individuals discover new ways to learn and grow. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Develop and implement a complete Team Building Program (including theme-based, meaningful projects)Train and supervise all Team Building and Activities InstructorsHelp direct and teach ranchers new techniques and skills related to team buildingOversee and plan all team building activities for ranchers, youth, mission teams, and staffOrganize and maintain the activity space and team building areas and equipment including safety checks.Make purchase recommendations to appropriate supervisorComplete a post-summer written Team Building Program report including inventory, recommendations for purchases, etc. TEAM BUILDING AND ACTIVITIES INSTRUCTOR The Team Building and Activities Instructor is responsible to assist and facilitate all areas of the Team Building program, including the registration activities, low ropes and high ropes course facilitation, and student rotations among other team building projects. TEAM BUILDING AND ACTIVITIES SWOT The Team Building/Activities SWOT member is responsible for assisting in facilitating low ropes and high ropes team building and assisting in the implementation of all registration and nightly activities in addition to serving as a primary resource for behavior management, program tasks, and staff support. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Support Team Leaders and program staff by engaging, providing breaks and additional help at rotationsTake initiative to keep camp clean, safe, and on target to accomplish objectivesLead in specialized skill area (team building/activities)Assist in the set up and facilitation of check-in and check-out activities and nightly activitiesAssist in facilitating low ropes and high ropes team building for ranchers, youth, and staffAssist staff in managing undesired behavior with children and youthServe in any area needing extra assistance Apply for job
