Responsibilities
- Enjoy the rewards of working as part of a team helping clients make financial choices guided by values.
- Learn the business surrounded by experienced financial advisors and other experts, building your career with the potential to become a partner in the practice.
- Build your book of business with the ultimate goal of joining the Harbor Financial Group in the traditional financial advisor role within three months to three years.
- Meet with potential clients to build genuine, long-term relationships based on shared values and goals.
- Educate and empower clients to make knowledgeable financial decisions about investments, insurance, retirement and generosity.
- Develop skills and best practices to be a successful financial advisor.
Requirements
- Up to 14 weeks of paid training and coaching as you obtain your state insurance licenses (life, health & variable contracts), Series 7 and 66 registrations, and complete Thrivent’s comprehensive advisor onboarding program.
- After onboarding, you’ll have control over the income you earn, as you’ll be paid through commissions and incentives based on your success.
- Must be self-disciplined, independent and driven to succeed.
- Motivated by helping others and seeing them achieve their goals.
- A natural coach or guide with strong interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about living a life of generosity by serving others, not just selling products.

- Acquired in previous careers such as outside sales, business management, education, ministry, hospitality, military and more.

Pay
You will receive a competitive compensation range of $75,000 - $90,000 annual salary plus performance-based incentives.
Schedule
This is a hybrid role with the expectation of coming into the office periodically. While most of the work can be done remotely, occasional in-person collaboration is encouraged based on team needs and business priorities.
