Teaching Supervisor - College of Education

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct regular visits and observations, provide feedback, and support the professional relationship between teacher candidates and their mentors or cooperating teachers in their placement schools.
• Report to the Director of Clinical Practice on candidate progress and development toward teacher licensure.
• Participate on ongoing professional learning in the field of teacher education.

Required Qualifications

• A master's degree or higher;
• Seven (7) years of successful teaching experience, or seven (7) years of combined teaching and school administration experience which includes supervising instruction;
• Valid TN educator license in middle or secondary subject areas;
