Teaching Associate - PALS

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate PALS courses using effective, student-centered instructional practices.
Provide instruction in classroom, laboratory, and/or activity-based settings, as appropriate.
Assess student learning and maintain accurate course records.
Comply with all university, college, and departmental policies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in a relevant discipline;
  or Bachelor’s degree with appropriate alternative qualifications, as approved by the department.
• Certifications relevant to physical activity, fitness, sport, wellness, or lifetime skills programming.
• Professional experience aligned with assigned course offerings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in a relevant discipline;
  or Bachelor’s degree with appropriate alternative qualifications, as approved by the department.
• Alternative qualifications may include, but are not limited to, relevant coursework or training; professional certifications or licensure; documented excellence in teaching; and/or relevant professional or applied work experience.
