Teaching Assistant - Temp

About the role

This is a temporary paraprofessional position in which the teacher assistant supports the classroom teacher with a variety of tasks after training. These tasks include implementing emergency plans, health-related plans and services, behavioral plans, and carrying out instructional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with emergency plans
• Support health-related plans and services
• Implement behavioral plans
• Carry out instructional procedures
• Interact positively with students, parents, and staff

Supervision

Work is performed under the direct supervision of the teacher and/or building administrator.
