About The Role

We are looking to appoint an inspirational Teaching Assistant to support our Primary team of excellent teachers at Fordway Centre which is a 5-11 Pupil Referral Unit based in Ashford, Surrey. This is a permanent post starting as soon as possible for 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday, term time only.

The successful candidate will have excellent support skills and good all-round knowledge of supporting the education of students and an understanding of Special education, mainstream education and / or Pupil Referral Units. The successful candidate will be:

  • Passionate about inclusion and making sure all students gain an inspirational education.
  • An outstanding practitioner with high expectations of pupils' achievement and behaviour who is committed to providing high quality support for all children.
  • Able to maintain and drive forward outstanding standards whilst meeting the needs of a very vulnerable group of students.
  • An excellent communicator, able to work inclusively with pupils, staff, parents, Management Committee and other stakeholders.

Pay

The salary range for this role is £22,263 to £23,838 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.
