Responsibilities
- Aiding in daily classroom activities, including 1-on-1, dyad, or small group sessions to reinforce previously taught material.
- Assisting students with their output, such as helping complete projects, assisting with talking out answers before writing, etc.
- Driving students to dual enrollment classes and work-study jobs.
- Supervising students during social times (snack and lunch), as well as during planned and unplanned breaks from classes, both inside the building and outside in the outdoor area.
- Helping students coordinate access to additional support from other staff members (such as Co-Directors, School Clinicians, Speech and Language Pathologists, etc.) if needed beyond what the assistant can provide.
- Covering classes for meetings and when staff is absent.
Requirements
- Two years of college equivalent of 48 credits of post-graduate education.
- Valid MA driver’s license.
Hours
7:30 am - 2:45 pm Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am - 12:15 pm Friday.
Pay
$32 per hour.
