Teaching Assistant - PreK - 2026-2027

Summary

Primary responsibility is to provide instructional assistance to Pre-K students. As directed by the principal and classroom teacher, the teaching assistant will also:

• Work with individual or small groups of students in an instructional capacity
• Supervise students during other activities such as lunch
• Aid in completing necessary paperwork

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent
• Must have met one of the following options:
• Completed two years of study at an institution of higher education (48 credit hours)
• Obtained an associate's (or higher) degree
• Passed the Parapro Assessment through ETS
• Proof of highly qualified certification must be attached to your application to be considered for this position.

Pay

• Salary range for 2026-2027 is $17.51 to $26.97 per hour plus full benefits package.

Schedule

• Full time/10 month (183 days) position
• 7.0 hours per day, Monday through Friday
