About the role

This temporary paraprofessional position assists the classroom teacher with a variety of tasks, including emergency plans, health-related plans/services, behavioral plans, and carrying out instructional procedures. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the teacher, building administrator, or appropriate Special Education Department administrator.

The employee must interact with students, parents, and staff in a positive manner. Duration of the assignment depends on program needs and availability of funding.
