Teaching Assistant/Lunchroom-Playground Supervisor (Part-time)
About the role
This position provides academic support to students under the direction of a teacher and performs a variety of clerical support functions.
Responsibilities
- Support students in achieving academic success
- Maintain safety and order during lunch and recess
Qualifications
- Must meet Highly Qualified Status with two years of post-secondary education OR high school diploma/equivalent and satisfactory completion of the CAPE test
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be cooperative, congenial, and service-oriented
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks
Pay
Pay range minimum is $14.06 per hour. The starting rate is based on experience and internal equity.
Schedule
The vacancy is school-year, part-time, 5.75 hours per day, Monday-Friday.
