About the role
The Universities of Canada in Egypt is the first International Canadian Branch Campus in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital. It was launched in 2018 hosting top Canadian Universities with futuristic programs.
Responsibilities
- Conducting counseling sessions for students.
- Consult with faculty, staff, and parents regarding student concerns and make referrals to appropriate resources, both on and off-campus.
- Develop and implement outreach programs and workshops to promote student well-being and prevent mental health issues.
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and evaluate the effectiveness of counseling interventions.
- Create annual reports.
- Overshadowing and supervising junior psychologists.
- Planning the annual calendar.
- Overshadowing and planning workshops and events.
- Conducting workshops for students, faculty, and staff.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
- Psychologist with 3-5 years’ experience in academic institutions needed for a part-time role.
- Experience in providing counseling services to students in a higher education setting (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of student development theory and counseling techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years’ experience in higher education or corporate marketing.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Expertise in digital marketing, CRM systems, and brand strategy.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic.
