TEACHING ASSISTANT (CORRECTIONAL FACILITY)

About the role

This is a 12‑month Limited Term, Full‑Time position that may be extended to 24 months or become permanent. The role is located at the Central California Women’s Facility in Chowchilla, Madera County and is classified as Teaching Assistant (CF). All main communication for the position will be conducted via email, so a valid email address must be provided on the application. Effective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) requires a 3 percent reduction in pay in exchange for 5 hours of PLP leave credits each month through June 2027; the posted salaries do not yet reflect this change.

Requirements

• Minimum qualifications are defined in the Class Specification for TEACHING ASSISTANT (CORRECTIONAL FACILITY); applicants must meet those qualifications to be considered.
