About the role
Provide instructional services to students under the general supervision of Teachers.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement specified parts of the daily schedule of topics of the curriculum
- Maintain standards of behavior for students using behavior management techniques which enhance the students' development toward independence
- Plan and implement remedial instruction when necessary
- Perform various clerical and related duties assigned by the Teacher and Administrator
Requirements
- NYS Certification as a Teaching Assistant or the ability to become certified
Pay
$25,194 (2026-27 Base Salary). Consideration for additional salary may be granted based upon education and experience.
