Barrington Stage Company, an award-winning professional theatre company located in the heart of the Berkshires, is seeking Teaching Artists to join our roster of excellent theater educators in Pittsfield, MA. Barrington Stage has a three-fold mission: to produce top-notch, compelling work; to develop new plays and musicals; and to engage our community with vibrant, inclusive educational outreach programs.

Overview
Seeking teaching artists who have a background in devising original theater. Especially seeking composers, directors, playwright and multi-hyphenate creatives who can shepard the process of creating original work with students. We are seeking lead teaching artists and assistants.
Reports to: Jane O'Leary, director of education
Start Date: October 2026
Working Location: Pittsfield, MCLA, and various schools in Pittsfield
