  • Required: Bachelors Degree in related field

Experience Qualifications

  • 3 years in an office/clerical environment
  • Experience with spreadsheets and databases

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in the organization, support, and coordination of all aspects of the College and Career Development Department
  • Manage concurrent tasks effectively and complete assignments by deadlines
  • Facilitate arrangements for meetings and professional development classes
  • Maintain professional learning records
  • Anticipate and effectively support supervisors' job-related needs
  • Generate reports to provide data analysis for various programs
  • Handle routine matters in a professional manner in the absence of supervisor
  • Maintain an effective and efficiently run office, including the maintenance of accurate files and the generation of printing requests, copies, and other resources as needed
  • Maintain records and files for supervisor in an efficient, orderly, and accurate manner
  • Absorb and review monthly budget reports
  • Absorb and review budget amendments and travel requests
  • Absorb and review monthly budgets, substitute teacher funding reports, miscellaneous payroll, purchasing card and travel card reports for accuracy
  • Cooperate with and demonstrate a positive relationship with division, department, and other district employees
  • Communicate information concerning the Academies and Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education program to a variety of audiences, including parents, community, and school based personnel
  • Communicate information concerning the Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science programs to a variety of audiences, including parents, community, and school based personnel
  • Serve as the first line customer service contact for the department of College and Career Development
  • Support supervisors by being knowledgeable of department programs and procedures
  • Absorb and review various financial and accounting duties
  • Submit miscellaneous payroll and other accounting tasks as required
  • Absorb and review staff development preparation, sign-in and reporting
  • Absorb and review coordination and preparation of annual events
