Qualifications/Requirements

• Applicant must possess the appropriate grade-level and/or subject-area credentials:
• A currently-valid teaching license or certificate issued by the Ohio State Board of Education for:
• Intervention Specialist K-12 Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive,
• Education of the Handicapped K-12,
• or other Intervention Specialist License appropriate to the grade level,
• Must meet the teacher standards as defined in the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
• All school employees must be able to successfully pass a BCI & FBI criminal background check (prior to employment; cost to applicant is $47.25).
• All school employees must be able to successfully pass a drug test (prior to employment; district covers cost).
• Positive reference checks.
