Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor students’ performance in order to advance student achievement. Requirements
- Arizona Elementary Certificate with Art K-12 Endorsement OR
- Arizona Secondary Certificate with Art approved area or Art K-12 Endorsement OR
- Arizona Arts Education Certificate PreK-12 Certificate OR
- Arizona Subject Matter Expert Certificate 6-12 with Art approved area
- Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (required prior to start date)
- Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
- Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement
Details
Effective: 2026-2027 school year
Location: Holladay Elementary Magnet School – 33rd St. & Park Area
Position: 1 opening for grades K-5
FTE: 1.0 (7.5 hours per day)
Work Calendar: 9.5 months
Benefits
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
Pay
Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position. Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language. For more information on the salary schedule, please reference the Employee Agreements Webpage.
Contract
Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
