Teacher - Vision Support (Early Intervention)
This itinerant position provides vision-support services to children in Early Childhood programs throughout Montgomery County.

Responsibilities
- Develop an individualized program for students with vision support and/or orientation and mobility needs.
Requirements
- Valid PA certification in Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI).
- Unified English Braille (UEB) training preferred.
- Experience with students who have vision support needs.
- Current child abuse, PA Criminal, and FBI Fingerprint clearance (dated within one year of hire).
Location
The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit is located in Norristown, PA, and serves children throughout Montgomery County. Our Early Intervention Program is divided into four regions based on school district lines. This position requires travel within one of these regions, with the specific location determined during the interview process.

Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7.5 hours per day, 12 months per year (194 days/year).
Pay
- Bachelor’s degree: $56,694 per year.
- Master’s degree: $68,008 per year.
Placement on the salary schedule is based on experience and/or education beyond the Master’s degree.
