About the role

We are seeking an outstanding Teacher (Unqualified) to deliver a dynamic curriculum that blends creativity with cutting-edge technology and prepare students for their GCSEs, BTecs, and Functional Skills exams. We welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Coxlease School is an independent specialist day school near Lyndhurst, Hampshire, providing highly effective education, care, therapy, welfare, and support for up to 107 pupils aged 5-19 with difficulties regulating their emotional, social, and mental health needs, as well as other complex needs often associated with autistic spectrum conditions. We take an individual and inclusive approach to help young people make positive changes, develop as lifelong learners, and integrate into the wider community.

We actively encourage pupil-centred personal development and seek a candidate who will implement projects, trips, and enrichments to provide pupils with diverse and exciting experiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a dynamic curriculum blending creativity and technology
• Prepare students for GCSEs, BTecs, and Functional Skills exams
• Teach core subjects
• Lead and deliver to small groups, evidencing excellent progress
• Implement projects, trips, and enrichments for pupil development

Requirements

• Full UK driving license (due to location)
• Relevant teaching experience within the UK
• Ability to teach core subjects up to KS4

Qualifications

While qualified teacher status is not required, the following are preferential:

• Experience working with pupils with SEN, particularly those with behaviours that challenge
• Experience leading and delivering to small groups, demonstrating excellent progress
