TEACHER-READING COACH RESOURCE ELEM (TITLE I/GRANT FUNDED

POSITION GOAL

Provide targeted reading intervention to students identified as needing additional support.

ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement evidence-based reading interventions aligned with district curriculum standards.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teachers, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized educational plans for students.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction as needed to meet individual needs.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching strategies and knowledge of reading instruction.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Appropriate State of Florida certification.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience working with students who have reading difficulties.
• Experience with grant-funded programs and resources.
