About the role

The Elementary Teacher (K-5th Grade) position is responsible for delivering comprehensive instruction in core academic subjects, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting student growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state standards.
  • Assess student progress through various methods and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and implement best practices.
  • Support students' social-emotional needs and address individual learning differences.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
  • Valid teaching license in the state of Florida.
  • Experience working with K-5th grade students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of current educational theories and practices.
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and technology integration.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to lifelong learning.

Skills

  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
