About the role
The Elementary Teacher (K-5th Grade) position is responsible for delivering comprehensive instruction in core academic subjects, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting student growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state standards.
- Assess student progress through various methods and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and implement best practices.
- Support students' social-emotional needs and address individual learning differences.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
- Valid teaching license in the state of Florida.
- Experience working with K-5th grade students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of current educational theories and practices.
- Experience with differentiated instruction and technology integration.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to lifelong learning.
