About the Role
Develop and implement daily lesson and curriculum plans using a creative curriculum. Create and maintain a safe and healthy physical environment that fosters the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of students. Perform teaching activities that align with the Head Start Performance Standards regulations. Assist with meals, monitor the bus, and perform other various activities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Commonwealth of Massachusetts EEC certification in Preschool required.
- Minimum degree accepted: Associate’s; Bachelor’s degree preferred in early childhood (or related field).
- Must be able to speak and understand English. Proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Arabic is helpful but not required.
Requirements
- All candidates must undergo a CORI, DCF, SORI, and fingerprint background check prior to beginning employment.
- Valid MA state driver’s license.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
