About the role

Responsibilities
- Formalize lesson plans weekly.
- Align instructional objectives with curriculum standards and make informed decisions about goals.
- Evaluate student performance through various assessments and observations.
- Design and execute activities tailored to the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children.
- Utilize a range of instructional materials, including hands-on activities, discovery-based learning, and activity-based learning.
- Maintain accurate educational assessments and progress notes.
- Supervise and train a teacher assistant.
- Regularly communicate with parents about their child’s progress.
- Participate in Open House, Back to School Night, and staff meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Elementary Education).
- Montessori teaching experience (preferred).
- NAMC certification (preferred or obtainable within the first year of employment).
- Effective communication skills with parents.
- Experience in lesson planning and development.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Schedule
Final compensation is determined based on a combination of factors, including years of experience, relevant certifications, and the size and/or geographic location of the school.
