Teacher *POOL* - Elementary, Reading Interventionist (Effective 2026 - 2027 SCHOOL YEAR)

Summary

Contributes to the acceleration of our striving readers. Works extensively with students to help improve specific reading skills. Consults frequently with classroom teachers to design and plan interventions. Conducts assessments to identify students eligible for intervention services. Diagnoses reading strengths and weaknesses and matches these skills with appropriate techniques and materials in order promote interest in reading.

Minimum Requirements

  • AZ Elementary Certificate K-8 with Reading Endorsement K-8 or K-12 Reading Endorsement
  • Current AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Required Prior To Start Date
  • Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
  • Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement preferred

Requirements

  • Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization
