About the role
The Teacher, Multi-Classroom Leader 1 (MCL1), under moderate supervision, coaches 4-6 teachers and leads a team of teachers and other support staff in co-teaching, modeling, and small group instruction.
Responsibilities
- Coaches teachers weekly or bi-weekly in intensive coaching cycles.
- Establishes annual goals for each team member and organizes teaching roles based on strengths and professional development goals.
- Organizes the team to regularly review student progress and adjust instruction to enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborates with the team to implement new ideas and innovations to improve teaching and learning.
- Accountable for the learning and development of all teachers and students on the caseload.
- Provides daily coaching and preparation time to support instructional responsibilities.
- Provides feedback to the principal in selecting, evaluating, and developing the team.
Qualifications
- Must be in the CMS Teacher Leader Pathway Talent Pool as an MCL1.
- Must adhere to state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of curriculum, learning styles, instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment, and research related to learning.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license or ability to provide own transportation.

Benefits
Salary varies based on whether the school is a Title 1 or non-Title 1 school. Supplemental pay is available.
Pay
$11,250 supplemental for non-Title 1 schools, $16,000 supplemental for Title 1 schools.
Schedule
Full-time, 10 months.
