Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide communication to students and parents on a weekly basis through a variety of tools: phone, messaging, text messaging, and emails
• Evaluate student work by providing written comments on all submitted assignments
• Post a daily announcement in each course that motivates the students to participate in the daily lessons
• Manage the discussion board in each class to encourage participation and learning in the online classroom
• Meet weekly expectations as outlined in teacher training and the Teacher Expectations and Guidelines
• Participate in professional development and department meetings, as scheduled
• Administer standardized assessments
• Aid in establishing rapport with students/parents and encouraging students to maintain attendance and academic expectations
• Direct students to necessary resources including: teachers, tutors, admission’s staff, guidance support, etc.
• Maintain proper documentation of issues, concerns, and important information concerning students/parents as they present themselves

• Maintain a professional code of conduct, including but not limited to professional language, actions, and attire
• Maintain professional confidentiality of personal and private matters pertaining to students, parents, and co-workers
