About the role
Primavera is seeking a dynamic individual to join their innovative team as a Special Education Instructor.
Responsibilities
- Communicating with students and parents on a weekly basis via phone, email, live video sessions, and other means
- Writing and enforcing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans
- Collaborating with other members of the Exceptional Student Services team and General Education Instructors to ensure students are receiving the appropriate support and accommodations
- Participating in professional development and departmental meetings as needed
- Assisting the Student Study Team in evaluating and monitoring students
- Performing 45-day screenings and other duties as necessary to comply with all applicable state and federal regulations
Requirements
- Highly qualified in Special Education
- Current valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Az Teacher Certification
- Special Education teaching experience at the secondary level
- Minimum of at least 2 years of verified full time teaching experience in Special Education
