About the Role

Plan and execute the program for the classroom geared to the developmental level of the children. Accept and carry out the philosophy of the Child Development Center and policies of the Health System. Performs related duties as assigned.

Position Details

$1,000 Sign On Bonus! Full-time position at Mercy Hospital South - Child Care Center (40 hours per week).

Qualifications

• CDA, 9 college credit hours, Associate’s Degree, or a degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related education field.
• Must obtain at least 12 clock hours of approved child-care related training during each year of employment.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for children.

Preferred Experience

Two years of experience with a degree is preferred.
