About the Role
Plan and execute the classroom program tailored to the developmental level of the children. Embrace and implement the philosophy of the Child Development Center and the policies of the Health System. Perform related duties as assigned.
Position Details
Full-time position (40 hours per week) at Mercy Hospital South - Child Care Center. $1,000 sign-on bonus available.
Qualifications
- Education: CDA, 9 college credit hours, Associate’s Degree, or a degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related education field.
- Licensure: Must obtain at least 12 clock hours of approved child-care related training annually.
- Preferred: Two years of experience with a degree.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for children.
