Teacher (Mathematics) - $5,000 SIGNING INCENTIVE!

DYS Teachers can earn from $68,723 - $116,792 depending on education and experience (includes additional 20% supplement). Small class sizes (6-8 students). Students are an average of 16-18 years old. Comprehensive paid training will be provided to the selected candidate.

Duties

• Assess educational needs of youth: develop and implement lesson plans to address those needs to include individualized assignments and training
• Provide instruction with individual assistance
• Counsel students concerning their performance, behavior and/or personal problems
• Organize and/or monitor extracurricular activities if assigned

Qualifications

• Teacher 1 must have baccalaureate degree or less; Starting pay $68,723
• Teacher 2 must have a baccalaureate degree & 20 additional quarter hrs. but less than master's degree
• Teacher 3 must have master's degree
• Teacher 4 must have master's degree & 30 hrs. of post-graduate study
• Note: Applicant must successfully obtain Teacher Certificate or License prior to employment
